Terms of Service

The service

TakeOps organizes short-form video production, from idea to publication. It manages the process: it does not store media, edit video or post to social networks. Files and versions are links to wherever your files already live.

Account

You sign in with your Google account or with a link sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure and for everything done with it.

Access to a workspace requires an invitation or creating it yourself. Workspace owners and admins are responsible for the members they invite and the roles they assign.

Your content

The content you add remains yours or your team's. You only authorize us to store it and show it to workspace members, as needed for the service to work.

You are responsible for the content and links you add, and for holding the necessary rights to them.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for illegal activities, to infringe third-party rights, to try to access other workspaces' data, or to overload, break into or interfere with the system.

Availability and warranties

The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors. We may change, suspend or discontinue features.

TakeOps' source code is open under the AGPL-3.0 license and may be self-hosted by anyone under that license.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or data loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. Keep a copy of anything important.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend access for anyone who violates these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
